You're right, but an sti isn't cheap these days either they are 36K as well. Jim has this price hard locked at 40K no possible exceptions.
He even said himself - the guy who has owned everything...to get something truly awesome you need to spend above 40K.
Jim, you just have to admit your stuck.
Oh, I hear what you're sayin'.. If I was looking at a CTS, though, I'd be close to $50k real quick. Wagon, AWD, and the 3.6 is over $46k.. and that hasn't added nav, sunroof, remote start, etc..

Sticker on the STi coming in is about 37K. That's about 7K beyond my comfort zone but it's attainable.
Cadillacs are nice but they lose a lot in the first year. Great cars but you need to keep them 3 or 4 years. No Volkswagens.
Wait two years, try again.
