Straight piped V10

So I'm considering straight piping my rig but my concerns are I'll loose power and performance.

Does anyone know if I will or not?

I had a friend who straight piped his 5.4 v8 and he said he lost some bottom end torque. He went back and put a straight flow muffler. You might experience the same thing. Are you looking to get more horse power or just for sound?

Looking for sound but not willing to lose any power or performance since ill be towing with it soon

Straight pipe it! I had it done on my F150. Sounded great and I couldn't notice any power loss with it.

I actually like the way the flowmaster sounds. I say just buy a new muffler and a nice tip and you should be good!

yeah i got a magnaflow muffler and tip and i like the way it sounds but wouldnt mind it louder.

seen a truck last night that was either diesel or a straight piped V10 and loved the sound
