My '98 K2500 7.4 was rock-solid, too. I miss that truck.

Man I miss my old 98'. That thing was a tank. I beat the crap out of it (stupid HS kids )

They are great vehicles. My neighbor had one that had 400,000 on it, but it got totalled

i had a 98 2wd 2500 454 4l80e built in 97 bought in 2000 with 15,000 km sold in 2009 with 320,000 km with zero problems it was abused in every posible way except towing

never changed tranny or diff oil untill 3 monthes befor selling it. also the rear shoes never been changed untill the drums letterly turend to dust

that truck was the reason i bought the 09 sierra.. wich is doing great too

Can't beat 'em for hauling a bunch of people & a decent amount of ''whatever''.I've put 4x8 sheets of plywood,assorted 2x4s & motorcycles in mine.When it's raining everything stays nice & dry
