There wasn't as big of a difference as there was with my Blazer, it was still like a new truck...

Throttle response is better, shifting is better, drivability is increased... Moar powah!

Thanks guys. It's only been 3 months out of a truck but it feels like years. I like the looks of the recon lights too.

Sorry about that wayne. It's a 5.3L, 4 speed auto, 4x4, running upgraded 3.73 gears since it has the max towing.

I also forgot to mention I will HAVE to PTM my bumpers seeing as this is my first vehicle with chrome ones I don't like it as much as the PTM ones. I think i will have the door handles PTM as well since they are a plastic material like i had on the fenders of the F150 that faded.

Upgraded? 3.73 is pretty standard for the 4 speed in this model and MAX is a 6.0

I didn't know that all I see now are the 3.55's and 3.42's. I know i had to change the old k1500 over from 3.42's and yea I have to get back in the game with GM.

We are here to help! I had a GMT900 1500 before this beast, and Tobias had one just like yours but in Stealth Gray. Hell even ol' Subie Mike had a GMC 900 before he went to the dark side

. I looked into the 2500 but they were just to high of miles for my price range. I thought about just level and going force induction. Who knows yet because I don't even know lol

I think most of the people on this site had a 1/2 ton GMT 900 at one point.

But I did have 3 or 4 GMT 800's and more than a few 400's, AND THE BLACKBEAR IS WORTH IT!
