Shanin is otherwise occupied at the moment. Her daughter is in the hospital and they could probably all use some prayers at the moment...

That said, I asked her if she wanted me to post today's race results, so she didn't have to worry about it. She said she would appreciate that. So, here goes..

I'm not sure of all the details at this point. I know her daughter had some seizures this morning, out of the blue.. She had never had 'em before. She was rushed to the hospital and has been in and out of a coma. The last I know of, she was conscious and they were getting ready to run a bunch of tests.

Shanin said she'll start a thread later, after she has more definitive information..

I was listening to Jr's in-car.. With about 15 or so to go, Steve told him to save as much as he could. "You can't catch the 29. Every time we get close, he takes off. He's just playing with us. Just stay ahead of the 27 and we'll see how this shakes out. Run ONLY hard enough to stay ahead of the 27!"

With about 5 to go, the 27 started catching up and Steve turned him loose again.. "Give it all you got man! We can make it from here!"

Of course, I'm sure Chad thought Jimmie had enough to get to the end.. And I'm sure Alan Gustafson thought Jeff had enough to get to the end.. Apparently, Matt Kenseth (another of my picks) ran out and was pushed on the last lap. So, they penalized him a lap...

Oh well! What can ya do!?
