Did you check/replace the camshaft positioning sensor underneath the dist cap? Your dist gear may be wore out to. :dunno:

No,not yet.Before changing anything else I figured I'd be better off spending my money having the dealership hook up all their machines to see if they can find the problem,then replace that part only.My main concern is the PCM isn't throwing any codes like I believe it should and I want to know why.

No,not yet.Before changing anything else I figured I'd be better off spending my money having the dealership hook up all their machines to see if they can find the problem,then replace that part only.My main concern is the PCM isn't throwing any codes like I believe it should and I want to know why.

On my '99 I had to replace the cam sensor like three times, and it only threw a code one time. I also replaced the dist gear in it. It was shot.

On the other two times did it keep the engine from running?
