Drove the truck to a movie last night and then home. (not Transformers 3)

Changed oil on the motorcycle. I'm embarrassed how long of a change interval (not miles, but months) and how little I got back out.
But now it has 3qts of 20w50 back in it and is as happy as can be!

Hey Matt...
If you are only going to change it every three or four years... at least check it every once in a while... :rollin:

:jester:
I went 2,800mi and 15.5 months without changing it. I thought I changed it this time last year, but the mileage doesn't lie. I don't know if I even got 1qt back out. It doesn't burn it, but it slowly leaks out by the shifter shaft (the engine and trans share the same oil; kinda nice since you change all the fluids at once).

I'll be driving that bad boy to Kentucky sometime this morning. We'll get a later start than I wanted to. My FIL got admitted to the hospital yesterday afternoon, and the wife wants to go visit him before we leave.

Thanks Joe, I'll drive careful. As for the FIL, his kidneys aren't working like they should, and his potassium level is high. They are going to keep him for a couple of days and keep him hydrated.

Might have loaded some shiny wheels into the back of it..... :ninja:

You get tired of them in your living room and decide to haul them around in the truck for a few months? :jester:
I had moved them to my garage so I got sick of them getting in the way when I went to get my John Deere out of the garage to mow. I basically did it to make the truck ride smoother because of the load in the back. :D2

Found some leather seats for the S10 in Forest Lake (pretty close to you Carl) and cheap too!!! Trying to figure out if I can use the front axle tube from it or not. It's a mod to get rid of the vacuum lines running to the front assembly. My main reason for doing this is that if something goes wrong, oil from the front diff can get sucked up and into the HVAC stuff. After that happens, its time to start replacing everything in the HVAC system. If I can get the tube figured out, I'd really like to get up there tomorrow or Sunday, but I'll be taking one of my parents' cars.

Got up early and washed it then pulled it in the garage to dry it, vacuum it, and condition the seats. Also, went and filled it up with gas.
