Truxedo LoPro QT. I love it. Easy rolling on/off (the low profile definitely makes a huge difference) and pretty easy to clean. The velcro on the rails is replaceable (another feature I really like). I'm the original owner so I can get replacement velcro (the part that's on the rails themselves) for life for free (or so they say). My only complaint is that my bedrails leak, but I'm 95% sure this is due to the rough surface caused by my spray-on bedliner. The only other thing I could see bad about it is that there are no provisions on it to release it without opening the tailgate first (so if you shaved the tailgate handle, you're screwed). I think I paid around $475 brand new.

For a cheaper alternative, I like the Access roll-up cover I have on my S10. It is a lot taller and doesn't appear to be quite as nice of construction, but it does have a provision if you have a shaved tailgate. This one seals great, but I don't have a spray-on bedliner in the S10. Not sure what the new cost is, but I got mine for $50 used. :D

I'll never have a truck without something coving the bed. I hate snow/ice in the bed and having to continually shovel it out. I love the looks, security, and dryness of a hard tonneau cover, but I don't like that you can't haul anything large without totally removing it or driving around with a big wedge sticking up in the air.

No problem Joe. :)

I'd have another Truxedo if I could afford/find one, but I can't justify spending that much on one for a truck that only sees the winter.

I went with that one for the low profile (better looks and easier roll on/off), for the latching mechanism (its a single metal latch on the driver's side; no plastic stuff like the cheaper Truxedo has), and for the support bars rolling up with it (which most of the higher-end covers now do). The other biggest plus is the lifetime warranty on the velcro. As you know, I only really use mine 6mo out of the year, but in the summer I usually use it A LOT.

If you'd like, I can post some pics tomorrow.

For you GMT-900 people, did your trucks come with that smooth tailgate cap, or did that come with the covers?

I've never seen a GMT-900 with that cap. They all have the huge plastic step one.

I see J-Rod's cover goes over the step which is nice to see... So at least I have some options

The one I used was a GM part.. I forget the part #, but it's the cap from the HD's..

Personally, I always hated that "whale tale" thing that came on the 900's.. I was glad to get something that looked less "busy".. :dunno:
