Well, I finally got my PC after having the starter kit (here) for over a month and finally had a day off work to have time to do everything. I did this yesterday, but didn't have time to post pics.

I think this took 5-6hrs. I'm also thinking about getting a foam gun....especially since my truck sits outside all the time and gets dirt/pollen on it. I did everything in the shade.

I started with a 2-bucket wash (using my own microfiber sponges). I followed with using the detail spray and clay bar on the entire truck (minus the windshield and back window; I was afraid of running out of detail spray). Then I started in with the PC and the orange pad with swirl and haze remover (set the PC to 5 as said in the Vol. 6 video). Then I went over the same area with the white pad and fine machine polish. After the fine machine polish, I wiped the area off with a microfiber towel. I finished the whole truck and then went onto the black pad and machine super wax (PC set to 3 as said in Vol. 6 video; letting this stand on the truck for 20-25min before wiping off (longer due to high humidity)). Finally, I wiped off the super wax with an Adam's Single Soft Microfiber Towel. Between each use of each pad, I used some detail spray to keep them moist.

I love how easily the polishes and wax came off the truck. On more than one occasion I got some polish on my door handles and the products came right off. When I used NuFinish before, it turned them white.

Cleanup was a breeze. I sprayed all three pads with the All Purpose Cleaner, let them sit for 10-15min, and then hosed them out. They came out almost brand new with the exception of the white pad (go figure).

The only problem I think I'm running into is that the pads seem to be flaking apart on me. I'm not sure why or if it is just dried on polish that is coming off, but there was definitely small orange pieces of something coming off the orange pad.

PICS!!!!

Is that RUST I see?!?!?!?!? :willy:
Looks good Matt.
 Yes. The doors have been this way since I bought it.
I'm not worrying about these doors or tailgate. I have others that will get fixed. Actually, the tailgate is completely rust free (was taken off the truck early in its life to fit a utility box).

Thanks Carl! :) At least all my hard work paid off.....if only for a few hours.
