Quote from the link JIM posted....Maybe RC is still pissed that KB signed with JG instead of him!!:dunno:

It was just four years ago that Childress was high on the list of team owners pursuing Busch after his release from Hendrick Motorsports. Despite his immense talent, his immaturity had made him expendable when Rick Hendrick had a chance to sign Dale Earnhardt Jr.
Team owners then lined up to sign Busch, and Childress was at the front of the charge. He defended Busch during the entire process, and didn't shy away from chasing him despite the rivalry between Busch and Harvick.
"You have to remember his age — I can name you eight or 10 guys in here at his age that were a handful," Childress said during Busch's 2007 free agency. "He's learning. Every new experience, you get educated a little more and I'd say this has educated him a little more.
"Kyle is a very young, talented race driver like many, many I've seen come up and be like that. Kyle has got a great future ahead of him. Age, time, everything, it all comes with experience."
Busch ultimately signed with Joe Gibbs Racing, and has won 17 Sprint Cup races

That's why he's wearing those ghey sun glasses to cover up his bruises

What a pussy, I think Childress did what needed to be done.

I can understand NASCAR fining Childress.. and doing so severely. They have to show ALL the big corporations that sponsor the sport and the cars that they don't want people going around beating each other up. That type of image just wouldn't set well with the soccer mom's...... :uhoh:

Just remembering some brand names from the last few races.. and the most recent Cup Results list.. Walmart, Target, Dollar General.. M&M's, Red Bull, Mountain Dew.. Taco Bell, Long John Silvers, McDonald's.. Clorox/Kleenex.. Tums..

If you're selling the sponsors on "sponsor a car, increase your sales!" Then, if something bad happens in the sport and you start getting bad press, the sponsors have to believe "bad press leads to worse sales.. perhaps even worse than before we sponsored a car! We gotta get outta there!!" :dunno:

So.. It seems as though "boys have it" only applies when NASCAR wants it to.. and only if it doesn't get too extreme.. and only on the track. Which apparently means it's ok to use a CAR as a weapon against each other at 180 MPH, but putting someone in a headlock and hitting him in the face with bare knuckles at a MUCH slower speed is not acceptable.. :uhoh: :jester:

Good point Michael I didn't think of it like that

Now, ask the Xtenze using, Budweiser drinkin' GUYS of NASCAR what they want.. and I bet you'd get a different answer!

If Jimmie Johnson went after someone with a Kobalt Tools Torque Wrench, Lowes & Kobalt both would probably sell more product! :jester:
