I wish I could help, but I can't really help much not physically checking everything out. Every Scosche interface I have used has worked flawlessly. But I do find that the chime speaker is a bit annoyingly loud. An easy fix is to cover it with masking tape. That muffles the sound just a bit, and you can still hear it.


What about hooking a different speaker to it?

Something that will be less likely to drill through your skull on every beep?

Yeah I suppose you could do that. But with the one in the harness, its already in a little black box with mounting tabs to secure it up under/inside the dash. Its WAY easier to just cover the grill with masking tape to muffle the sound a little bit. :dunno:

As long as you don't need to understand a person that should work :lol: :thumbs:
