On Chrome? Yes. It does a good job of taking surface rust off. I usually follow it with some sort of polish though.
I used on my brush guard on the black truck and polished it! Looked good as new!
I spent about 7 minutes per wheel this day. These wheels are 8 years old. I bought them used and then put new style center caps on them.

Robert's suggestion reminded me of some stuff I had for some previous wheels, on a different vehicle.. Nevr-Dull.
I gave that a try and it seemed to remove a lot of the surface evidence of what had been there. BUT, I think I rubbed too hard and just scratched the hell out of that part of the side-step.. (Yes, I know, I should've been doing this in a less obvious place...) And, as you can tell from the picture, there still appears to be some sort of staining....

Get your butt to the clinic right now. I'm dead serious. I have a couple things to try before you have to rechrome those things.
