Who has experience with them? My dad is being an ass and i'm changing the head gasket by myself. I'm used to working on small blocks. Anything tips to help get the head off without fWONking anything up would be great.

I have my intake and valve cover off at this point.

First thing I would do is get a repair manual. You are going to know how to line up the timing marks when you put back together. You are going to have to pull the water pump and timing cover off to rlease the tension on the timing chain to get it apart. Get a manual and look at it real good.

Our Public Library has every Chilton manual imaginable. Try that maybe. :dunno: I also have a Haynes for both of my trucks. :thumbs:

You could try going to the library and checking one out...
Maybe save you the cost of buying one...:dunno:
