Diesels are cool but with all the emissions and crap they made them less fun and cool to have. I would say Eco unless you plan on towing or hauling severe loads otherwise the EB can get the job done and you have economy as well.

Not to mention you would be the first one on TMC to own one and can mod it up for us all to enjoy.

Half tons make great daily drivers. My wife, like yours, would never drive anything smaller than our current 4 door Tahoe, for sure  She has always loved driving my 2500s, but always comes back around and tells me that parking them at the grocery store, etc is kind of a bitch

She is wanting a new half ton crew cab.

Good luck with your decision man!

Either decision is a good one they both are nice trucks and have pretty good motors so you cant lose just buy both haha. One thing I notice around my city is that as soon as the eco boost motor came out there were less 350's on the road. They do more than enough for most peoples needs.

Not a big fan of diesels, but I'm even less a fan of V6's. I say go for the diesel.

Its a turbo v-6 that makes more power than any N/A 5.4 ever did, with better milage :wtf?:

We are going to drive another eco-boost today to put some serious miles on it

am i the only one here that has driven any f150 ever? way under powered, makes all sorts of creaks / noises, uncomfortable to sit / drive, not to mention almost anything after market is 10x harder to put on than it needs to be..

im just stating my opinion

go get in a new f150 ext cab and close the door, the rear door doesn't shut correctly in any of them and the whole thing is loose as and now every time you turn the key you get to watch a display basically showing you a ford ad on the dash

and unless its a platinum edition it doesn't look that great either
