Do it! I have noticed exactly ZERO difference in gas mileage since turning mine off a few months ago.

AFM in it's current form makes sense for lighter, more aerodynamic V8 cars. But these 5000+ lb bricks simply cannot take advantage of it. Why didn't GM develop a 8/6 AFM system for the trucks? I could see that working better.
