Results are not surprising...except for the frame twist.

I'm very disappointed that rear gear ratio wasn't published for the few acceleration tests. Other than that, top notch tests.

Idk how independant the testing was since gm paid them. Not saying they were lying just that if there's a test the Chevy didn't win, it won't get posted. Would also like to have seen this later after the updated Cummins is released. That frame twister is a crazy sight though. But Ford's SD frames have never been known for torsional rigidity. Dodge must have done better in this test, it wasn't included in the video.

Doesn't matter WHO does the tests. The other brands will piss and moan about how unfair they were. What it all boils down to is that you can throw a blanket over all three performance wise, so pick the one that suits YOUR fanboy instincts and be happy.

I watched them all...

I didn't like the way they casually let the Cummins slide out of most of those tests. I would like to see the results even if it won...

But I am not surprised with the frame twist or bumper sag of the ford. I see that every day anyways.

The frame twist was wild but put both trucks up here in salt territory and see which frame lasts longer. I would be willing to bet that the Ford frame will be in better shape in 20 years as long as you're not driving through crazy ass ditches on a daily basis.

Problem with fully boxed is water and salt get trapped inside and creates the perfect habitat to rust, when it's open it will dry and through natural occurrence will be rinsed off more. Tubing rusts from the inside out faster than any other form. That's why in the building trade angle, channel, I, and H are considered structural and tube (be it round, square or rectangle) typically isn't considered structural.

Yeah that makes a lot of sense

FYI ford and Mike Rowe advertise a fully box frame so the ford can only get worse...
