Shut Up Stupid
well.... honestly it cant be hard to see them... they have a chrome ball you know... so much chrome you gotta wear glasses kind of shit.. yo.

Mine is matte black, I sanded it and had it sprayed. fWONk em.

The Craftsman crowbar that I found on the road is the only thing that works for cleaning it out. I've tried other bars (such as a carpenter's) and they don't do squat. When I bought my truck, I had to beat it for a long time (with PB Blaster and WD-40 sprayed in where I could) with a 4x4 piece of wood. You could hear the thud through the entire neighborhood! If I know I'm going to be towing stuff like the boat around all week, then I'll leave it in. Otherwise its always out. Like Matt said, if you don't take it out in the winter, it rusts the shiz out of the receiver...
So I finally go it out and used some 60-80grit sand paper along with a crowbar I found in the road to scrape out as much rust as I could.
I still have to do this periodically so the tongue fit otherwise it binds up and I can't get the pin in to lock it in place or get it back out.
I really want a new hitch.![]()
Yeah I've had this hitch for pretty much 2 winters. It is really rustyAnd probably just as bad inside.
I leave mine in I have a 8 ton pintle ball combo that I bolted into the receiver instead of using those pins. People in my town are such bad drivers that instead of getting a new bumper every month ide sooner have people hit this and mess their own cars up. And I have a back up camera so im not one of those people who backs into cars when reverse parking...Heres another reason I leave mine in when I'm on campus people cant park. This guy drove until he hit my hitch and smashed his fog light than he backed up a bit...(notice how far into my parking space he is)
