I cant DO fiberglass....but Im faking my way through it( gotta learn somehow right?)
Step pads are going back on. I put rock guard on them to make them grippier& improve the looks. Gotta get color match paint to cover the rust where the steel body panels meet the plastic panels though.

Thanks for all the thumbs up guys....I am by no means a body work guy, but I have a great canvas to learn on.

I'm assuming that the rust was because of gravel roads?:dunno:

The truck originally came out of Saskabush...Saskatchewan for those who don't know...I think they still use salt on the roads over there.
The whole underbody is quite rusted, although the way the inner fender mounts(rear), they trap quite a bit of mud which seems to have eaten the fenders out from the inside. The cab panels are just good ol GM ext cab panels.:lol:
