If the frame isn't tweaked too bad, the 06 FEA would be a cool swap. I agree that body work is nothing... if you have the skill to tackle it.

If you can fix it and not take it to a shop for anything but paint, you might come out OK.

Well the insurance adjuster hasnt came buy yet so I dont know a everything but it seems like its all body work
A LOT of body work. An entire new front clip, new driver door, new cab side and corner, new bed. That looks like a crap ton of work to me, but if you are all for it, then have at it.

For your safety if you keep the truck have a frame shop look at it. If thats good than have at it. You could get away with just a bedside by the looks of it but you may find a used bed for less money than parts and labor combined. Have you priced front ends yet?

A Chevy front clip is all bolt on stuff. No unibody inner structure like a Ford. It makes it much easier to work on. Find a used front clip complete and just swap it. All of the real body work appears to be down the side of the truck.

It really depends on your skill level. Having a shop do it all is going to put you way over the top.
