But it is so quiet and smooth. If I lived inside a Harley dealer I would drive 100's of miles for a Goldwing, I love them. My bike days are over though.
Kid has been bugging me to go half in on a dual sport Honda with him, just like dads, shouldn't have told the fWONker all those stories. :uhoh:
He needs a damn car first, not handed in assignments mean no car.

Get a Can-Am and then do a fat-tire kit and a turbo.

I'm not a Harley fan (you're paying for the name and the engines haven't changed in 20+ years).

Have you looked at or considered a Victory?

I do not care for Victory.

You should do some more engine research, before making those statements.

I am well aware of what I am saying, and have owned quite a few bikes.

I was merely showing off a bike that I really like, and if I decide to make the move, I think this is the direction I will take.

If you want sport, comfort, and reliability on a somewhat larger scale than your current bike, the Yamaha FJR is a fantastic handling bike.

Sorry. I didn't mean to pick a fight. I just was wondering if you considered the competition.

Can I ask why you don't care for Victory?
