Probably worth it. Especially if the lens is in better condition,

UPDATE

Well, the seller (pretty sure its a junkyard) emailed me back.

Said they do have one with 23,000 miles on it and is willing to trade.

Do you guys think it is worth the extra shipping?

I just emailed them to see what shipping was to me.

on your style truck its pretty easy to just take the odometer out and set it to whatever you want...

ive done it before and sold them to idiots on craigslist that want to "lower" the mileage on there truck

I don't really care what the odometer says since I'm swapping the one from the truck to it. I care more about the physical condition that it is in. I've actually already got the one I have pulled apart and waiting to pull the other one out of the truck. All I did was separate the cover, backing, and gauges themselves. I haven't touched anything yet.

Just waiting to see what this might cost in shipping.

Matt, not that it matters now, but I use a microfiber cloth to polish with that Meguiar's

I heard back from them. Apparently the vehicle was wrecked early in its life (had to have been rolled, smashed into a tree/poll, or had the frame bent badly). They will exchange it at no cost to me and will pick it up. I told them I'd rather drop it off somewhere (UPS, FedEx, USPS) than leave it outside and to send me a shipping label. We'll see how long it takes to hear back.

I must say that this is changing my attitude towards the seller. I was pissed they sent me a different one, relieved that they would exchange it, and am now ecstatic that they are going to be paying shipping to make it all right.

Heard back from them again.

They are sending me the other cluster along with a shipping label to send the one I have back.

My experience with them has totally changed. I couldn't be happier. They are going out of their way to make it right (probably thought I'd leave negative feedback).

I'll have to dig up their name to let you guys know.
