Hate Milk! Got Beer?
OK, I have been listening to Totally Money Makeover and have came up with this solution. I know you guys are probably getting tired of me posting things about money, but you guys seem to have a lot of good insight.
I am putting my truck up for sale. I owe less than 10K on the truck it BB for around 16K. If I can get somewhere around that I am going to sell it. My plan is to buy a beater car, that still runs good and then look into a motorcycle and still have money left over. Does this plan sound smart? I know you are going to say, why a motorcycle? It's something I have wanted and I can get one without going into debt. I would be complty payment free! That would be a huge help! Not to mention a motorcycle would get great gas milage for the summer months. So let's here your comments
. Maybe I am looking at this wrong.
I don't use my truck as a "truck" and I have access to one if I would need it. I have a friend selling a 93' civic with a brand new motor that him and I put in it, he is asking $500.00 for it, but gave first dibs to my other buddy because he didn't know I was looking, so I might try to con my other friend into letting me buy it or buy it from him for $600 or $700, either way I would still make out with a "brand new motor" car.
