New Orleans was notorious for the bad streets. I remember reading a news article years ago that talked about New Orleans was somehow rated as the number one city where car owners take the best care of there cars. It was based on the amount of suspension repairs and tire replacements done by car owners in New Orleans compared to other cities. The author of the article criticized the ranking because its not that people do it out of love for their cars or preventive maintenance, its done because the bad streets tear up your tires and suspension. :lol So it is actually a necessity in New Orleans.

Pot holes suck ass! :fume:

Luckily, we don't have many around here, but the guys that pave the roads in the first place F-up the man-holes. They always set them too low so then they settle even lower from the traffic. They also are stupid and put them right in the way of the wheels, not in the middle of the lane like they are supposed to.

Just wait till they try to repair them with crappy cold patch that wash's out with the first rain.

Didn't bother with it. An old friend of mine fixed it. He only charged $175. I didn't feel that was to bad at all. I used to work for this guy at an old Sohio station when I was 16. 1976, some memories there for sure.
