my first car, a '86 Fiat Tipo 5 door Hatch. 1.3ltr monster of an engine mated to a 5 speed. could hit 140 in about 3 minutes flat. thats km/h. bought it off a coke head that was getting kicked out for $100. on the first drive home, the rubber shift boot and handle came off with a hard 3/4 shift. threw it out the window after i stopped laughing.
about 3 months later, the brakes went out on it. as in, took about a 1/4 mile to slow down from normal speeds. a slightly harder brake application would lock 'em up instantly. used a lot of down shifting to slow that beast. man, so many stories i had w/that car. i wish i had an actual phote of Gracy, that was her name. i killed her off on accident with about 2 weeks left in Italy.

The previous owner was a old lady... Her son worked for me... She bought a buick so I bought it off of her.

I think I bought it for $300-400 and sold it on ebay for $1600....

I thought about driving it... Tried that once for about 15 minutes and I changed my mind!
