"That motor runs gooder than hell !"
Hey guys, so I've been on the hunt for a set of power/heated/signal mirrors for my dad's 08 Sierra. I was watching ebay and the cheapest I saw was about $390 shipped for OEM mirrors. So I called Brent from Bruce Lowrie Chevrolet down in Texas. I got a GMPP intake and exhaust from him for a great price, so I figured I might as well give him a call. I'm glad I did it just so happened he had a set that he had taken off his personal truck that he said were just sittin in storage, so he said $225 shipped, and I about crapped.
I didn't take any pictures during the process, but to remove the door panel you'll need to pop the little plastic piece off of the door lock rod, remove the 5 10mm screws from the door panel and pop it off along with the triangle plate by the mirror. Then unplug the connection which is plugged into the door switches which can be a bit of a pita to get plugged in and unplugged because you can't see. Then remove the 3 10 mm nuts holding the mirror on. Note: it does have a a retaining pin that requires quite a bit of force to pull out.
Then install the new mirror and reconnect/install everything
Now for some pics, sorry their not that great, and the truck is filthy:

and a pic of the new Centerline Grizzlies and Cooper zeon ltz's (275/70/18) before we mounted them up:
O and just and FYI the signals worked fine, and with no programming coming from just power heated mirrors, I believe the programming only comes into play with the power folding mirrors.
