drove it to work, tried to figure out where squeaking from engine was originating. Pulled #3 &4 plugs.....found they need to be replaced, had Dennis hook it up to his autocal & then drove it home....really hard:thumbs:

Drove it to help someone setup a new Cisco router for their home (an ISR). NON TRUCK RELATED: Pretty slick little thing too. They've gotten better at wizards (I did mine manually using the IP address). Also helped them copy pictures and files to a new external hard drive they got. I'm not against it, but older most older people (I'm not naming an age nor anyone's name :D) just don't understand storage and managing files (such as the difference between copying and moving or why you should move and not copy or visa versa). But I explained everything in ways that they would understand. I use the analogy of "when you move out of a house, you leave nothing behind" to explain what it means to move a file; and "when you run a paper through a copy machine, you still have the original along with a second copy" for what copy means. I had a good time and wasn't frustrated at all. I thought it all went pretty good.

..KUDOS to you Matt...
That was a nice thing you did...
You know Jim, it was actually pretty fun :). I had an ad in the paper where my mom works (free) the summer when I turned 16 for computer help. I helped 4 or 5 people (all older) with their computers. Two were setting up their new DSL modem, one was some training, and I can't remember the others.
I think I enjoy it so much because it combines my two favorite things: driving and working with computers :D.

Sat in it for a little while messing with the stereo...bored.

I've done that before. Been in there for a couple hours one time. Another time my dad came out into the garage (right after the install) to see what the noise was to find out that I was in the truck with the doors and windows closed .

I love my system in the truck because I can listen to it without anyone hearing me (for the most part; I always turn it down at stop lights - hate it when others have their music blaring next to me) and can listen to whatever I want. Dang...now I'm missing my truck even more :(.

.

It is kinda funny sometimes about driving.
I still enjoy driving...Reckon that is why we take long road trips..
Most people I talk to.. especially older people... HATE driving...they don't do road trips and just fly to one place and stay there their whole vacation and then fly back home.

Heck... I like seeing different things and being on the move.
If I want to stay at one place for a week...I would just stay home... :rollin:

Drove it the the girlfriend's pad so she can pack up stuff to move away from her boyfriend for a bit. She cannot take another minute of football and drunk sailors on the couch.
