Got the oil done in the Trailblazer

That sucks on breaking those sockets. That plug was on there, and like stated above good thing it didn't strip the threads. That would not have been good.

As for the filter change out, next time put a large ziplock bag over it before you get it loose enough to let oil out, that way the oil will go into the bag and not on you.

I'm definitely going to do that the next time I change mine. The oil running down the filter/hand is the only messy part of doing it on these trucks.
