I bought a combo cordless set couple years ago. It has the circular saw, sawzall, flashlight and drill w/ 2 18v batteries. The batteries are junk. They drain to easy. Better off spending the extra money and getting the dewalt. I bought this from Walmart.

Not made to be on a job site. This set good for small jobs at home by the homeowner.

That sucks man, those things are kind of a pricey investment to not be happy with. My friend just got a few cordless craftsman tools and no problems with them yet but the batteries won't charge if it's below 32*. Kind of a pain in the ass for those of us that don't feel like bringing the batteries in every night. My dewalt has lived in my uninsulated and unheated garage since new (going on 5 years) with no problems.

I have several of the Black & Decker battery powered tools. All of them the 14.4 Volt series, they weren't too bad when I first got them but they don't last long at all before the batteries completely crap out. I wouldn't recommend them or even try to buy new batteries for the tools I have.:(

I recommend the craftsman 19.2 volt stuff if you don't wanna spend the jack on the dewalt. I've had my set for 6 years and boy have I used it. The batteries have started gong bad but after that long what do you expect. Bought some new ones and kept on trucking.

I love cordless tools, and I have quite a few.

At the house, I have a 18v combo kit of Ryobi that I bought about 9 years ago with the circ saw, the sawzall, drill, and light. The batteries went junk in short order, and I put the set away. Fast forward to last year and I found a smokin deal at HD on the new 18V hicap Lithium drill with 2 batts and smart charger. The batteries are awesome and fit ALL my old tools. They all work great around the house. The lithium hicap batteries make these tools better than they were new.

At work I have DeWalt, Bosch, and Snap-On.
