Well, it happened today on 12/11/10, she lost the trade in retail value and joined the AARP Trucks Association :uhoh:

I really wish I could have traded it in last summer when I could have gotten $13,600 for it with 92,000 on it.. damn. Oh well, rough economic times, and it runs great, no real reason to go newer just yet I guess :D

My '06 has a little less than 20k left to go before it hits 100k but its adding up quick. I bought it 2/09 with 48k and now its at 80,6xx.

Did somebody offer you that much on a trade-in? Im just wondering because I paid $14,700 for my '06 last year and the dealer still made some money on it.

Depreciation is a bitch on these trucks for sure. My '06 stickered for $34k new and 3 years later took a $20k hit.

I plan on keeping mine quite a while.

My '06 Chevy 1500 has 92,5XX on it right now.
The '06 Caddy has almost 93,000 on it.

Both of them still run like new.. :thumbs:
