Glad to hear you gotit all hooked up.

Got any pics of it installed?

Hey Tobias, somethin else you should check into (unless you have already done so). Call the dealer with your vin and find out if your fuel pump harness has been repaired in the recall. 2001 Tahoes and suburbans had faulty fuel pump wiring which could cause the fuel pump to act up, cause it to fail altogether, or even cause a fire. A month or two after I bought my Suburban, I got a letter from GM about the recall. Now my lil brother has been having problems with his 01 Tahoe (The custom blue one that was for my brother David). Afriend helped him change the harness which he said was badly melted. They thought the pump was bad, but saw the harness melted, changed that first and the pump started working. I also just read about somebody on GMT witha 2001 Suburban with similar problems, thats what made me remeber this. Go check into it.

I "should be closing" on my house soon...yeah right.

Buying a short-sale property has proven to be a pain in the ass!

I looked at some of those when I was shopping around. The ones around here seemed to be advertising a "short sale" price, but the people making the decisions were waiting for a "full market" offer before they would approve the sale. :dunno:

Good luck, man!

I will check into that.

I know some work was done to the fuel pump a while back based on the CarFax report but I'll have to check more closely.

Thanks!
