Logged a file with the 87 Econo tune and then installed the 93 performance tune and then logged a file for it as well. Had a blast out on the back roads of NC driving like a mad man leaving marks all over the place.

It's fun to do that every once in a while...![]()

Yes it is. Hunter was with me and she is a performance junky, every time I nailed it and ran it up through the shifts, she just sat there and giggled. She loves to ride in my impala and have me wind the gears out in that as well.

Just checked....No codes after at least 35-40mi.Meh, just get it off before the sun hits it and you get ice underneath it all. I hate it when that happens.I got it all covered with that ugly ass white crap.![]()
Drove it. Gotta re-check for error codes yet.
Let us know if you get any.

Had a fun time though tonight. I stopped at a GM dealer to check out some cars. I was gonna leave the truck running and just set the parking brake. Well, I pushed it down a little then realized I shouldn't park in the middle of the isle (even though no one else was around) so I pulled the release. Nothing happened. I figured there wasn't enough tension to make the spring pull the pedal back up so I pushed it down as if I were parking it on an uneven surface. Still didn't release. I had left my cellphone at home and my "emergency tools" weren't in the truck. Luckily I had my Leatherman in it. I used the needle nose pliers to unscrew 2 7mm bolts so I could get my hand up behind the lever. I was able to look up there and saw that a plastic grommet had come un-clipped (it keeps the outside of the cord still so the inside can move). I clipped it back in and the park break released. I did all this in the parking lot while kneeling on snow and being 8 degrees out.
After all this all I can say is that my tools are going in the damn truck!
