Only time I hear drone is when the mds kicks in but nothing bad, dont even notice when I have the stereo on

Well, that's cool! One of my employees bought a new HD crewcab with the hemi, and had dual Magnaflows installed, and it is a dronin' mother!

He is going to have to put resonators on, or change the piping.

dual magnaflows... So he made a custom true dual? Exhaust on these trucks is single until the rear axle then dual out. Also the truck comes stock with 2 resonators, 1 on each tail pipe. So if he did all custom, he wouldn't have those anymore and would explain his drone. You can see my resonators behind each tip in the videos

Edit: I see his is the HD, so it doesnt have dual exhaust from the factory anyways, so yea thats why its droning, custom dual exhaust with no factory resonators in place

Damn you Darren! I showed those videos to Pat and now he wants! But, we don't have the bumper for that. Do they make a dual MagnaFlow for our trucks that doesn't require the "special" bumper?

Also, for the Hemi to run right, does the resonator(s) have to stay on somewhere?

thats good that it doesnt drone when the mds kicks in...im getting a programmer to disable the mds because mine is horrible when the mds kicks in and it sounds retarded lol.....nice truck man

It sounds retarded when the MDS kicks in IMO. Turning off the MDS was one of the deciding factors on my decision to get a programmer. I absolutely hate putting it back to stock for dealer visits.

Mine sounds bad from the inside I'm sure it's not good from the outside either.....kinda sounds like it underwater when kicks in I've been turning od off so it doesn't kick in when I'm in town lol gotta get a programmer
