There should be at least 2 numbers.

Like 45 and 11 for example. That is the tooth count for each gear. you divide that and get 4.11

Go brush it down and see what numbers are there.

o-crap i think i saw them today and didn't realize you was talking about that-you saying on the yoke were the shaft mounts-it was 357-what do you divide it by-explain please...

See this picture. Right at the end, you will see the numbers on the pinion gear where the yoke attaches. There should be more than just "357" if it is a FACTORY gear, they don't stamp all the aftermarket gears, but AAM did stamp all of thiers.

Look for more numbers. You may have to get aggressive with I wire brush, like I was telling you before.

o ok 357 is what was on the yoke-on the back-i'll have to take the drive shaft off and look-wasnt looking there-sorry thanks-i'll check there.
