I thought bout doing the tire spin thing but no engine,its a stick, and its uphill could do it maybe one tire up like you said didnt think bout that-da-don't you hate it when its staring you right in the face. Don't have cover off either i could do that. Isnt there suppose to be some numbers on the short tub(d/s)?-I think i do that jacking up thing real quick-be right back with the info.

you dont need the engine!! lol i guess i forgot to say to have the drive shaft disconnected lol!

huh??? maybe i had to have both tires in the air??? thats been about 7 years ago??

i was reading on a nother furom and it said to turn the tire 2 full turns so if the yoke turned 2 times with one turn it should turn 4 times with 2 turn of the tire . 4.10 gears??

Ok heading out there-i thought i saw some where to turn the tire 10 times and it be on the spot?

Ok drive shaft 4 turns - tire 2 turns and about afoot and half

no no lol u turn the tire 2 times and stop on the tires mark not the yokes mark. so if you turn the tire 2 times the yoke turned about 3 3/4s turns to id guess its a 3.73

Out there looking at the axle again-found on the driver side tub "KHF G 289" any one know a site i can find the rearend gear ratio of this on? Or know? It's the 75 gmc 14 bolt.-just wanna confirm what i think it is.

Ok i give-i can't find anything but it's a 10.5 14 bolt 8 lug free floating can't put any meat tires on back for traction(are at least expensive to) good for 4x4ing and the ratio is 3.42 to 5.13---Well like 64 said it's a 3.73 according to the tire spin and shaft turn. Im happy with that. I guess i'll have to be.
