Made the decision to park the Silverado tomorrow night after work. Wed & Thurs are supposed to be really bad weather and I just know the DOT will salt the crap out of the roads. So I'm doing this 4 days ahead of schedule, but Mother Nature doesn't always co-operate.
Also, the IAC wasn't the problem on the S10. Next is the TPS. Anyone know how they are attached on the 96-00 Vortec motors? I know it is only held on by 2 screws, but how does the sensor attach to the shaft of the butterfly? Is there a pin that you have to get lined up just right that is going to be a PITA or something?
I don't know about the Vortec's, but on the Dodge motors the TPS has a slot and the end of the butterfly shaft is flat. Just put "Tab A" into "Slot B" and tighten the screws.

Love it Bernie!
