well i can weld dude ..... i said dont get yer dam panites in a wod and you did anyways..... so fWONk off..... if you wanna talk shit go somewhere else, cuz yer truck has way to many add-ons

Guys, back me up on this one. So lets say you tell your ol lady that you wanna take her out somewhere nice tonight when you get home from work. In her excitement, she gets her hair done, gets a manicure, puts on a new dress and does herself up. You get home and see her; her make up is a little over the top, her shoes clash with her outfit, but she tried. You tell her she looks ugly but not to mad at you for saying that because it's just your honest opinion. Everyone is entitled to their own opinion, but there is a way of saying things. In your pm you sent me, you said "we are all grown men here, no need in actin like a bunch of dam kids," and yet you comment on the hitch by saying its "gayyyyyyyyyyyyy". If that isn't a childish comment, I don't know what is. How would I not get offended? As far as commenting that my truck has way too many add ons, I'm willing to bet most on this website would take my truck over yours any day. I mean, who would want to roll around on 40" tires and 12" of lift listening to one of thousands of songs stored in the onboard 80GB hard drive blasting from my premium sound system while playing xbox 360 on 1 of 3 tvs only to be drownded out by my trains horns to scare the crap out of a little truck like yours as I see you jump in your seat through my rear camera, forcing you to drive into a puddle you can't get out of. Not to worry though, I can pull you out with either my 10,000lb winch or the 12,000lb winch or just hook up my recovery strap to my gay hitch. And If for some reason while I'm helpin you out I rip off your front bumper, I can fix it with my onboard welder. Or I can plug some power tools or pneumatics into the rear bumper. Don't worry, Ive got plenty of onboard air and 3 batteries to supply the power. So you can weld? Well I'll tell you what. I just ordered some chromoly ballistic joints from Ballistic Fabrication to fab/weld up some rear traction bars. Once the parts come in, I'm buyin some schedule 40 316L pipe, not sure what diameter I'm getting yet. I figure I'll use some RN82 tig wire to get the job done. Joint designs I'm gonna use are the common P3 joint with a backing ring I'll fab up as well as the PT2S1 and PT1S1 joint designs. Don't worry, I'll verify this with the 22D joint deisgn manual, the 248, and some other publications i used when I ran the weld shop in the navy at SWRMC San Diego. I'll make sure to prep it well to avoid porosity then I'll fit it up, tack it, run the roots, maybe 1 intermediate pass, and then a final, maintaining a minimum interpass temp of 150 degreees fahrenheit just in case it warps. Does that sound good to you or does it sound too gayyyyyyyyyyyyy?

I apologize on behalf of myself and little un zero the hero for jackin this thread.
Ahh I'd tig weld those joints personally

holy cow sweet ride...where did you get the hitch i got to have one

I got the idea from the internet but didn't want to pay $400 for it. I drew up the flame design. My buddy took it to work, put it in his CAD to make it a little better and then cut it out on the flow jet machine. My dad helped me make the bend on the tongue. It was a real pain in the ass. I ended up having to make a small relief cut to aid in the process. Then I welded everything up and had another buddy powdercoat it high gloss black. We even pull tested it @ 12,000lbs at work. I think the bumper will fall off before the hitch fails!

Damn nice work!

^^thanks

btw , that hitch is gayyyyy yall are talkin about

just my $0.02 , dont get yer panties in a wod!

:ford: ftmfw!

Thanks for shootin down something that took several man hours of my time, not to mention my father's, and a few friends of mine. I'll tell you what, if you ever want some custom welding done, maybe I'll let my 12 year old son show how to do it. That hitch is gauranteed to pull your little truck out of anything you need. Show me a custom project you've made and let us be the critics. There are ways to comment on things without being a dick. You should have used your 2 cents on some real modifications or at least some manners.

you can teach me man. i love your work. i can't wait to take classes this summer.

I didn't mean to get this stirred up. I shouldn't have said anything. Sorry. Your truck is sweet. Not my taste but nice none the less.
