Guage cluster lights...

I've been seeing how some people have changed the lights behind their clusters to different colors... Any ideas on how? i think that would be pretty cool in my truck

What color are you thinking of going to?

Also the cargo light switch doesn't have just a bulb, it requires "breaking" it (seperating the casing) to access the bulb to solder a new one in

I've thought about doing this (and going with green lights), but it seems like quite a bit of money for something so small.

If you guys don't mind me asking, how much did it cost for you to do the gauges, headlight switch, cargo switch, and climate controls (not the radio)? If I did it, I'd also do the window switches on the driver's and passenger's door.

I'd imagine it's still pretty cheap from when I did it. I got LED's for $0.20 and resistors for $0.10. The rest is up to you really. I shorted a window switch on accident and had to get a new one for $20. Still would do it in a heart beat though.

For green from superbrightleds, it would be about $30.80 for all the LEDs and sockets, $23.66 without sockets.
