I see a lot of Gm vehicles: Savannah and Express vans and trucks especially that have the passenger side running light out (amber) Is this just a common issue? It's been bugging me for a few years

I think it was a wiring problem on the GMT-800's (so 99-06). I've seen one DRL light burned ou and find it really annoying. Someone with one will chime in and say for sure what it is.

It's a symbol of membership in the "I'm oblivious that I need to check my lights from time to time" gang.

If you are talking about the DRL, they haven't discovered the 4114 bulb yet.

Very common issue with the older 3157/3157KR bulbs to burn out quickly.

Yeah it's rampant... Newer vehicles too. Every 3 or 4 out of 5 (not kidding either) this is an issue. It's 07 classic and below to 99 and the vans.

I've noticed that the light was burnt out on a ton of models from that generation. Would make sense it was a wiring problem.

It's not heaven . . . it's Iowa!
I know I had to replace the bulb on my 99 several times. I don't understand why people don't do it, as it isn't that big of a deal to do :dunno:

I've seen it quite a bit too, but never had a problem in the almost 4 years I've had my truck. :dunno:

I do have the 4114, mine burned out before I broke my ankle, maybe a few weeks before...
