Hi seen something interesting. In the 3500HD CCLB 6.2L I think I seen 6speed dually of course. the curb weight is only 6274. How is that possible. My CCLB weighs 8050. Are the trucks getting lighter. I dont see how that would help.

I see 6404 for the '10. The info I found on yours is...or close to it....

Mine is 99 C3500 (LS) Crew cab DRW 8ft box 7.4L big block as it is the Classic body not the later half of 99 when they went to the LS series engines.

My GVW in the door jam is 10,011lbs pounds also. Engine: 290HP/ 410ft/lbs torque, 7.4L vortec, 4L80e Automatic Transmission,

GVW is the loaded weight, curb weight plus payload.
Sorry.. I forgot that..I used the 350. The 7.4 is 10011(by your sticker) - 3803lbs (spec I found) payload capacity is 6208lbs. Which sounds better.
