I will have to drill some holes in the skull and weld some aluminum studs in there (and grind over the heads so they disappear from the front) so that the center section and skull doesn't separate from the backplate, or worse yet, start bending down. 3M double sided acrylic foam tape works well too...not sure if it would hold long term, stuff is super strong though. It would need it underneath the pointed areas of the wings too IMO.

The skull might need one but I doubt seriously that the wings do. The only thing I'd be concerned about at all is the salt getting in between the two layers.

Salt? If I can help it, the truck won't see too much salt, unless I'm out and get stuck in snow.

Yeah, that's why I think the acrylic foam will help prevent that.

Thanks Geoff and Jeff.

The silver skidplate/black backing plate might be too much, and be distracting from the rest of the truck. With the black/silver backing plate, it's a little more subtle, while still keeping the silver to balance the shocks.

Dan, I was being facetious....you missed the joke, forget it. :D

And no Tobias, not better, can you go even larger with the boltheads? Thanks. :)

:fingertime:

I'm sick, give me a break. And teach me how to cook Italian sausage.

What's wrong lil' buddy? :D

And teach me how to cook Italian sausage.

Excuse me?

All you do is brush it with some olive oil, salt and pepper and place it in a broiler or throw it on a grill. :dunno:

If you meant sausage and peppers(without sauce), that's just as easy.

Next time you and Colin come over I'll make that or anything else, just let me know.

I just chopped it up and put it in a frying pan with some olive oil, and then let it soak in the sauce for a few minutes.

Yeah, wasn't the best.
