I have no idea. But I do know from reading up on it that the power is quite differently delivered to the wheels. Both were made for two different things. I would like to have an experienced driver go out on the trails we go out on. If the Raptor is better than me, so be it. I'm still happy with what I own. It's just another challenge. And Rovers are made to go thru, over, and under at a nice slow speed and they are not made for a timed test. Wish they were sometimes.

And that is what this thread is about. If you have a capable truck, why bother with buying something so huge, wide, etc.

310bhp at 5000 rpms and 360 ft# torque at 3500. It's all about how/when it's delivered to the tires.

I'm sitting at 320bhp at 4500 rpms and 407 ft# at 2800 rpms. Running a CDL, but other than that I'm pretty much stock.

So, yes the Raptor could make it up the mountain, just alot faster and more dangerous than me.

In 2011...you can pay an extra $3,000 and get 90 more HP and 40 more torque in the form of the 6.2 V8.
