I would much rather have a truck built for speed like the Lightning over a truck that can go over some piles of sand.

think about it...on the trails aroung here travel isnt as important as traction and gear ratio..and low end torque is a must..baja on the other hand is the opposite...

Many here have paid 40K and more for their "regular" trucks.

exactly my point!

Matter of fact I looked at a 2010 4x4 Lariat at the local Ford dealer today and she listed for $45,000. I'll pass! Ford has the shittiest leather and there's no way in hell I'd pay that much more for leather and a few extra bells and whistles.

There is a guy on base with a black one. He cannot hit the trails around here cause of the width and it doesn't have enough torque to make it up the big inclines.
