Contacted several local water jet companies the past few days.

Some never replied, a couple replied but seemed disinterested, and two sent me quotes.

One place quoted me $300 for one skidplate ..wtf!! They said the price per piece would go down the more I order ...lmao

Another place quoted $60 ($20 for cutting, $40 for a 24x24 sheet of 1/8inch aluminum, overall size is 18x22.5)

Naturally I went with the second place (even though $20 sounded far too low for water jet services), so I contcted them to make sure it wasn't a typo (figured he meant $200 for cutting, but apparently not), and the kicker, they claim they can cut it today too. Just goes to show you what thieves exist in this world.

And thanks Tobias, I was able to export a DXF file right from illustrator.

Front plate that polished aluminum/chrome powder, back plate matte black. Should look beefy with the two plates bolted together.
