What kind of cars have you had?

I've owned more of them than I can count. Years in automotive related businesses certainly helped that. We've had everything from Ferraris to VW beetles (and a lot in between). Massaged Miatas have always been a favorite. Add about 100HP to a stock one and let the fun begin!

I started out swapping cars like underwear, but after going to trucks in 1990, I have only had 3.

1982-83 (I turned 16 in '82): 1971 Cutlass Supreme (mint Black on black).
1983: 1976 Vette (with a "chev" in front of it. )
1984: 1972 Buick Skylark (mint cond).
1985: 1980 Pinto (hey, I was paying my own way through school).
1986: 1979 Mustang
1987: 1978 Monte Carlo (305 V8).
1988: 1983 Buick Regal (restored to mint cond, money pit!)
1988: 1978 Olds Delta 88 (winter beater for 83 Buick)
1990-1999: 1989 GMC Sierra RCLB
1999-2007: 2000 GMC Sierra ECRB
2007- present: 2007 GMC Sierra


Wife's rides:

1989 (when we met)-1994: 1983 Olds Cutlass Supreme
1994: 1993 Plymouth Voyager (huge mistake....major POS!!!)
1995-1997: 1994 GMC Safari conversion van (we both hated that clumsy box).
1997-2004: 1997 Chev Lumina (great car, never saw the shop once!!!)
2004-present: 2004 Chev Impala LS.

I hate you!

I hate me too, it was a rust bucket. Original 6 cyl, 3 speed car. I had a 327 0.090 over and a TH-350 in it, 4.11/ 4.12 (cant' remember) rear gears, 750 Holley DP. Engine was balanced and would turn almost 10,000 and never sputter.
I got discouraged by all the body work, coupled with the fact that my best friend bought a '71 Chevelle ss, 454 LS6. He started tinkering and finally began beating my ass on a regular occurence. That did it, some guy offered me some money and I took it. BIG MISTAKE.

I've had 37 cars and trucks and 12 motorcycles, including a 1955 Pontiac ambulance, and a 1937 International pick-up truck.

I also had a bunch of British sports cars, Triumphs. I used to restore them.

My 1st car was a 1956 Chevrolet convertible. I wish I had that one back.

1. 97-98 1986 Toyota Camry 5 speed with no rear shocks(buncey)
2. 98-00 1992 Chevy Corsica 3.1 v6, oh yeah, that thing got fuel line freeze up every winter, and it had the horrible paint flake problem
3. 00-01 1997 Pontiac Bonneville SSEi, that car was the cats meow! Fully loaded, moon roof, leather, it was great!
4. 01-04 1999 Ford Taurus, arrgg...
5. a) 04-07 2004 Chevy Malibu, I got the first new that newer body at my dealer ship, it was a nice ride, black and grey interior
