Funny thing is that it actually came in handy this weekend. There's no aux jack but I did have a spare XM tape converter that I used to pump my iPhone through via the 3.5mm plug.
I still hate it though.

Actually, I've had that player for a number of years and its been in 3 different vehicles. Its at least 9-10 years old, so they probably don't even make it anymore. As for the monitor, I have a roof mounted flipdown. Its mounted on the hump in the headliner between the front overhead console and the rear overhead AC controls. That was the easiest spot for several reasons:
....Its the flattest part of the headliner
....If I mounted it farther back behind the AC controls, it would not only block the
AC controls but it was kinda too far back for the rear seat passengers to see
without looking almost straight up.
.....There are two rails/roof supports above the headliner in that spot, perfect to
drill a screw into it without risk of puncturing the roof.
I did this install like 2-3 months after purchasing my truck in jan-06, and everything still works great. The hardest part was the trial and error of getting the DVD player to sit as flush as I wanted it to (had to shim it a bit).
When I get a chance, I'll try and get some pics of the monitor for you.

Ok Tobias , it took me long enough, but I finally got you some pictures of my ceiling mounted monitor. Also, although I didn't get a picture of it, the monitor can turn slightly to either side.

Also, in the pics, it looks a lot farther forward than it actually is. When the screen is flipped down, Its just about even with my head when I'm driving. And I am 6foot, so I have my seat all the way back as far as it will go.
