Makes me miss my dad's old 4-4-2

no shcitt...i had a 79 olds delta88 with a 350 rocket bored 40 over full cam and 6 barrel holley with a shaker..god i miss that thing!!

6 barrel?

thats when you take the original 4 barrel qudra junk off and throw it away, take the intake off and change it over to a high rise aluminum intake with 6 holes and put a 6 barrel holley on it. the qudra junk was choking it to death, the 6 barrel let it have the fuel and air it needed to really breath, and breath it did!!

IM just used to hearing yeah ive got 3 2's or so.. lol.

If I went turbo, that would most likely be my setup. get my 5.3 bored out to a 346, forged pistons and rods and throw a 76mm turbo at it.

I saw a 67 SS Nova, that was in the fast street legal comp. on the dyno, had a small block 350, and a 100mm turbo, first dyno pull, hit 1000 hp then spun the tires on the dyno, second try, tightened the straps, cranked off 1178 hp at the tires....and was street legal....see if I can dig up some pictures.

Edit, The Supra in this video, is the shop truck!!! LOL, they also own the green and blue one, the Nova is about half way through the video, in this video, it cranks off 1072hp, when I was there, it did the 1178hp...
