The part number for the sensor I bought was 12450120. That should fit a 99-02, I know that the sensor on the 03's on up is physically larger, not sure if they are compatible with each other.

where does the light sensor plug in?

Hi guys,

My light sensor is missing, someone obviously removed it. I'm getting a new one, but once I get the dash off where exactly does the new one plug in? Thanks!

I looked to see if I had a picture, unfortunately I don't. So I'm going off of memory here, I believe the sensor only had a short pigtail and the connector was fairly close to the hole in the dash. I had my entire dash removed while I was working inside and that's about all I can remember. If you remove the entire dash cover it should be fairly obvious, I hope. Good luck.

It would have been nice if the individual that replaced their light sensor would have done a picture write up for all of us out there to follow on if ours goes bad. But no, he just went and did it and said it is fixed. What good is that?????:dunno: :wtf?:

Just messing with ya Scotty! :D

Thanks Darral, I did forget to do a write up when doing mine, but I used pics from GMT to do a complete write up after the fact. Hopefully that write up will help others in the future.
