You do go off road right? First trip out it will look like shit with rock chips and stuff. Am not a fan of PTM stuff if I know it will get used in areas where it will get chipped easily.

True but you can get that 3M film to put on it too, it helps a ton

True... and unless you are seriously going places that you are going to stuff the bumpers into the dirt, they will hold up fine. I understand the concern of chipping them up but I doubt it will be a big issue.

My uncle has that on his dodge, well did after 5 years took it off and holy build up on the front end. Not really a fan on the 3M stuff. The BMW's and Audi's have em. Some look good others like look crap. Some time and a detailer stick with the paint. True on not stuffing it in a mounting. Yet on freeways and such that one little black mark on a white bumper, in my eyes looks like crap after that first chip.
