Well, I've commented on a few trucks and it hardly seems fair that "the guy with a Subaru in his pic" is commenting on people's trucks. So, I went back and found a few peekshurs of the Sierra I traded in a few months ago...

After the exhaust work was done, but before the drop shackles were added :

I think this was just a couple of months before the shackles were put on :

Not the best picture in the world, but.. After the shackles and before the cover and rails :

Pretty much in her final state.. cover, rails, exhaust, steps, etc, etc.. :

And a few from my last road trip with 'er...

Mods :
GM Oval Side-steps
Custom true-dual exhaust
Volant CAI
McCulloch HID Conversion Kit
MB Gunnar 6 20" wheels
Yokohama Parada Spec-X Tires
Blackbear Tune
Beltech 2" rear drop shackles
Putco SSR Side Bed Rails
Access Vanish Tonneau Cover

I thought I had the windows tinted, too. But, the pictures sure as heck don't look like they ever were.. :dunno:

Not a fan of lowered trucks especially the GM's new body style; the fender flayers are kind of off roady which calls for a lift and over size tires. Over all the truck turned out styling after the few mods you did to it, with the exception of the size of wheels and tires. On the last picture the truck, to me, has this humongous body with little feet kind of like a Dachshund looks.
Sorry, it is not my intention to sound funny or make fun of your previous truck, just stating my opinion in the best way I can express it.

By the same logic, the 17" rims on mine makes it look like it really has little feet...like a miniature Dachshund.... :D2

Yea...it's one of items on my wish list...20" rims would be a start!

I always liked your truck Michael. I sure hate that it's gone, I understand why but I still hate seeing it gone.

I think the side steps needed to go away. Probably the bed rails too... but it was a pretty sweet ride.

I hear ya, Leo! Personally, I think GM screwed-the-pooch on the placement of the body with regard to the tires & wheels. No matter what size the wheels are, if you stick with the same overall radius of tire on there, it just doesn't "look" right to me.. It seems like GM designed the chassis and they designed the body... and then they put them together. Especially the rear wheel wells just don't match-up at all with where the wheels are, especially at stock height...

I really wanted to drop the back (especially the back) a little more.. I like a more "leveled" look than what GM is doing with them, these days..

Contrary to the pictures above, I didn't take the truck off-road that much. So, it didn't make sense to lift it and put bigger tires & wheels on it. It spent probably 98% of its miles on paved roads and I liked the way the 20's handled / cornered better than the 18's. If I lived in an area where I would've been taking it off-road more, I probably would've gone in a different direction.. OR bought a different truck, to begin with. :dunno:

Thanks for the comments, man!
