Let mother nature wash it again for me this morning.

Then drove to Winona, MN (about 30 minutes) to buy a home theater receiver.

I filled up (cheap MN gas) before leaving. I had like 177 miles on the tank and figured it would take at least 11 gallons. It took 9.125 gallons.
Worked out to be :wookie: 19.4 mpg :fingertime:. That is the hightest I've ever gotten with the truck.

It is an Onkyo. I think it is TX-SR506. It is 7.1, 3 HDMI inputs (even though I don't have a TV that has them). I got it for $80. I wanted one that had speaker A and B and that could play through them both at the same time (my Sony STR-DE685 can't do both at once).

80 bucks? Damn that's cheap. I like Onkyo's stuff. I have one of their R1 receivers in my computer room.

I thought it was a good deal. Found it on CraigsList (I love that site, not nearly as much as TMC!). It has a feature for "Zone 2". Zone 2 can be either powered by the receiver itself or by another amp in the 2nd room. Zone 2 can have its own source (FM/CD etc.) or the same as the main set. If you power Zone 2 using the Onkyo, you can only have 5.1, but if you use a 2nd amp, then you can use all 7.1.

Onkyo, Yamaha, Sony make really nice receivers.

Haven't driven mine since mid June. I really need to go start it.
